At the Gates of Saumur
La Croix de la Voulte has a very long history dating back to the 15th and end of the 17th centuries. It owes its name to the place where it was built - "Croix", old French for the crossroads and turning point for the Royal huntsmen. The vast fireplaces in the Touraine and Anjou bedrooms date from the 15th century.
